I use these floats a lot around the Milton Keynes area, where fairly clear water and lack of lock movement encourages fish to come up in the water. Also I want a slower drop of hook bait as the fish watch the bait falling through the water. I always try and shot these floats as low as possible, so hold up bites are even more enhanced. The Fiber bristle on these floats offers excellent visibility, which is very important in rippling conditions and the  tip  remains visible in bright sunshine or shade.

My shotting patterns are as follows:

(4x12) A bulk of No. 10 shot and 3x No. 12 shot droppers spread.

(4x10) A bulk of No. 12 shot and 3x No.8 styles droppers spread.

(4x8) Evenly spread No.8 styles from mid depth.
