Noman Carpenter's Views

The main reason I use this pattern is that there is no need for back shotting, also a brilliant shape for over shotting and holding back when the canal is running hard. My shotting details are as follows:

4x8) I use this pattern as a slow falling light rig for fishing in the shallow water up the far shelf, using No.13 shot spread.

4x10) This is my more positive light rig, again for fishing up the far shelf, using a semi-bulk of No.12 shot and 3 No.13s as droppers.

4x12 & 4x14) These are my bagging floats for when they are really having a go, you can fish them over depth, touching bottom or even off the bottom and run them through the peg. With being my bagging rigs I use olivettes and 3 No.13s as droppers.
