This float is best used for on the drop style fishing, with the shot spaced out in shirt button style. I fish this float with .08 main line and a 24 inch (600mm.) hook length of .06, as I have found that the heavier .08 line holds the float more stable in the wind.

The float should be laid on to the water in a straight line to let the shot fall back to the float and the bites should come as the float settles.
